How To Clean Illy Coffee Machine

If you've seen two blinking lights, dismantle the tank and drain any remaining liquid.

Fill the tank with fresh water to the full capacity. Attach the descaling solution tank. Allow the descaling solution to dissolve on a level surface.

Avoid entering any capsules by closing the lever. Submerge the dispensing spout in a tub with a minimum volume of 0.75 liters. The computer should now be turned on. Click and hold the button for three seconds within 15 seconds of powering on.

By gently pulling the water tank downward and then outward, you may remove it. Wipe the body and attachments clean with a damp cloth and then a non-abrasive dry cloth.

Detergents should be avoided and avoid subjecting the unit to water jets or fully submerging it in water.

  • Step 1 Scrub and dry water and milk tanks with soap and hot water.
  • Step 2 Increase the water level in the tank to the maximum line (33 oz.).
  • Step 3 Complete the installation of the water tank in the unit.
  • Step 4 Power up the computer.

Typically, limescale accumulates during machine operation.The unit has automated software that optimizes cleaning and eliminates limescale deposits on the inside.

Descaling should be performed on a minimum of a two-monthly basis. Inadequate descalement of the coffee machine will result in malfunctions.
