    In order to get the finest brewing results, extend the life of your coffee maker, and reduce the likelihood of a breakdown, descale your Philips Coffee Maker, descaling every few months is suggested.

    If you consume two full jugs of coffee a day, you should descale your coffee machine every three months or so. Once or twice a year, use a softener (up to 18dH).

Glass jug, spoon, and other essentials are included. It has an excellent price point and a nice design. I think this is a positive thing to have.
