Because mocha and espresso are both hues of brown, it's unsurprising that they're confused. However, they are not.
Mocha is a high-end coffee produced from a special bean. It's frequently confused with the coffee and chocolate flavored drink called a mocha. It has a chocolate flavor. Baristas add a little chocolate to the mocha recipe to boost the chocolate hit.
“Mocha” originally referred to coffee imported from the port city of Al Moka in Yemen, a Yemenite port city that was once a major trading center during the country's coffee boom in the 17th century. Many Arabica coffee beans were grown in the nearby mountains of central Yemen, such as the Moka region. Roasted and then delivered to the dock once they were harvested.
Which flavors pair well with mocha?
Espresso has a higher degree of warmth, a longer fade out, and a delightfully dark color. Mocha has a cooler tone, is more easily faded out, and is a medium brown color!

OCM (OnCoffeeMakers.com) was started in 2007 with the first webpage about coffee machines. And for a number of years, we focused on helping people find their desired coffee machine (we still are helping folks with that! So, if you are looking for coffee machines for office or restaurants - check out the link).
In 2010, we started getting enquiries on restaurant marketing and we start to help food and beverage brands with their marketing. Below are campaigns and events that we have done over the years:
