Joe & Dough is one of my favourite coffee and sandwich chain, especially when I need a good breakfast. This was my first visit to the Orchard Gateway branch. It’s located in the centre of Orchard Gateway so it’s hard to miss. I love the aroma of coffee lingering from the café.

The outlet has an open-concept so you get to people-watch but it also means less privacy for the diners. As with all their branches, their signature wooden theme décor makes the place warm and pleasant.

Joe & Dough offers a good variety of sandwiches and coffee. I was just slightly hungry so I settled on a ham & cheese croissant with latte for my brunch. It didn't take long for the croissant to come and it was served hot.

Croissant was good! The thin and crisp skin of the bread, together with nice ham and cheese makes me a happy girl. The ham is neither too salty nor too bland. After one of it, it made me crave for more. Latte did not disappoint as usual. (I am using my previous picture from Kallang Leisure Branch as I started drinking before I remembered to take the pic).

Other than Orchard Gateway, I had also visited their Golden Shoe and Kallang Leisure outlets. So far, I have had good experiences with all my Joe and Dough visits. Staff was friendly and the food and drinks’ quality were maintained at all branches. I will definitely return to try more of their sandwiches!
