Dean and Deluca is one of my favourite breakfast spots in Bangkok so I already had a pretty high expectation before I visited the café in Singapore. This is my first time visiting the branch at Orchard Central. They have a delightful variety of items including a pretty good selection of gourmet items at their retail store. They have tea, spreads, candies, chocolates, baking needs, salts etc etc. If you ever feel that you need some new items in your kitchen, do pay D&D a visit.

I was kind of hungry after my facial and shopping in orchard. I started with an appetizer potato salad. It was good. Then I went for Anchor Chicken as my main and finished off my meal with the famed rainbow cake. Chicken was just average and I felt that the cake’s colouring was too thick although the texture and taste was quite nice. I like their chamomile tea. The taste was strong but not overpowering.

Overall, it’s still a decent breakfast and dessert place.
