Restaurant Marketing Ideas and Trends’ example: Free Coffee in River Valley
Location: River Valley | Robertson Quay | Singapore
Period: January to December 2019
River Valley is a super trendy, eclectic, and charming district that is just on the edge of the city centre and CBD. It is home to many charming, boutique cafes where you can while an afternoon away. Here is where you can get free coffee in River Valley.
How to enjoy Free Coffee in Singapore:
As diverse as River Valley’s offerings, are the places where you can grab a cup of free coffee in River Valley. Located near Great World City, is a famous chicken rice outlet called Five Star Chicken Rice. What is most interesting about it is that it actually serves up gourmet coffee instead of your traditional local kopi. With their coffee, you can also experience delicious kampung chicken which is healthier and more premium that normal chicken rice offerings.
A short drive away, you can also grab coffee at Saladstop’s Tanglin Mall outlet. If you are familiar with Tanglin Mall, you will know that the mall has a perpetually relaxed demeanour. Unlike heartland malls, you will not find huge crowds at Tanglin Mall, making it a nice place to spend your lunch time, while also enjoying some top notch salads. If you happen to work in the CBD, you can also get this deal at Saladstop’s CBD outlet.
On the other side of River Valley, on the Robertson Quay side, you will find two properties, incidentally both under the Millenium Copthorne Group that are also serving free coffee in River Valley. Most people will be extremely familiar with Studio M Hotel, where many Singaporeans have had a staycation there. Their in-house cafe, Memo Cafe, is artistically decorated and if you do not mind the Singapore warmth, you can even relax on some outdoor seats available.
Similarly, their sister property, M Social Hotel, is home to a cafe called Beast & Butterflies, is also a place you can grab a free coffee. And not just any coffee at that. You can get a free nitro cold brew which can be flavoured with things like matcha and cinnamon. It is sprawling in size, and sports many unique design features like lava lamps and non-uniform tables. Situated right along Robertson Quay, you will also have the luxury of sitting al fresco, while pairing your nitro cold brew with signatures like their Rojak Toast.

OCM (OnCoffeeMakers.com) was started in 2007 with the first webpage about coffee machines. And for a number of years, we focused on helping people find their desired coffee machine (we still are helping folks with that! So, if you are looking for coffee machines for office or restaurants - check out the link).
In 2010, we started getting enquiries on restaurant marketing and we start to help food and beverage brands with their marketing. Below are campaigns and events that we have done over the years:
