Coffee in my locality is really good pricing, if you convert it into dollars, then it would be about $0.10. So, my grandfather was very surprised when the coffee in Starbucks (we ordered a long black) was $3.00. We asked us what is the difference and why are we paying so much for this cup of coffee, I cannot really answer that. But, reflecting on it, and from what I read in this coffee maker ratings, I guess ambiance is really a component that Starbucks is charging. And people are really going there for the "feel" the experience of it. So, if you think about the millions that Starbucks has invested into their outlets, $3 is really not alot of money...
