Surprisingly enough most coffee machines may not need the repairs you think. Some machines just need a good and simple cleaning. When my coffee machine started to act up and make weird sounds or not perk properly, I thought it was in need of repair. I call my local small appliance repair shop and the first suggestion they made was a cheap repair solution - a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water then a few cleansing brews. After trying this solution, my pot was like brand new. I never knew so many minerals would linger in the system and eventually clog it up.
