I have been using my cuisinart coffee maker in the office for 3 years now and it is still intact!

I got his carafe so that I would have a stock carafe available for my coffee maker just in case my present carafe breaks.

I love using braun coffee maker but my only problem is that the carafe's handle always easily breaks. The design is not that good so it easily breaks off.

Also there are times I've come close to having the unit smash to the floor because a cord or drying towel gets hooked under the handle.

A design flaw in my opinion. But all else is good. Although I like my braun coffee maker, I find my cuisinart coffee maker better.

Because the coffee maker is much durable and easier to use. Also the carafe is much tougher to use.
