I will most likely try a different commercial maker and model

I wanted to search online to be able to find a perfect coffee maker for my use at home.
After 1.5 years of daily use of my Braun, it seems to have died and the screen just went blank.
Because I have already bought in a 3 pack of expensive coffee filters.
I thought that I might go ahead and just replace this coffee maker.
After all, it's a fairly low-priced option for what you get: the coffee does taste good and the programming feature is handy.
However, as others have mentioned, it is always messy as it drips in its carafe, which is one of the things I hate mostly with it.
The mid-brew pour never worked on mine. Though I have the now useless Brita filters, I will most likely try a different commercial maker and model because I'm not interested in a coffee maker that does not work.
