La Scala , Host Milan 2019

I was at La Scala booth, Host Milan and I was introduced to the latest model named Madame. This model was designed by Alessandro Masturzo.

I would describe this model as a new design La Scala Butterfly with updated aluminium side panels, customised drawers and trays. Comes with a copper boiler with heat exchanger, a manometer, E61 group head and vibration or rotary pump on request.

This design reminds me of a quote by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe "less is more". Truly an updated espresso machine for the modern coffee aficionado.
