Coca Cola, the vending giant has probably rolled out the first batch of touch screen vending machine by this time of writing.
What I can say is the potential to this Samsung uVending touchscreen coke machine is limitless.
Interaction is key these days and in all things there must be a tinge of customer service excellence, and this touchscreen vending machine provides just that!
Imagine having the ability to "touch" a coke bottle and read the nutritional information (although I wonder why they want to do that, nutrition from coke...hmm...).
That is the touch screen ability of the samsung uVending touchscreen, to allow consumers to "play around" with their drinks.
Then, companies would be able to flash their advertisement on the gigantic screen, run contest.
Consumers are even able to download stuff (perhaps apps) from the vending machine via bluetooth and wi-fi.
This would ultimately be a shop by itself. With Japan already vending so many things, if this thing does get accepted by the general public -this can potentially become a store.
You get to view the products, read about the products before buying, and you get exposed to a variety of advertisement, isn't that similar to what you would get in a supermarket?
