The pressure (i.e. 14 bars) is very important In an espresso machine.
It is important because it is the pressure that forces the water through the coffee beans and after a few minutes, it drips in the coffee spout and we get a shot of espresso.
Some cheap espresso machines have a very low pressure therefore, it produces a very weak and bland tasting espresso.
Pressure is one of the key factors in making an espresso.
That is why I suggest that when buying an espresso maker is that you need to buy the top quality ones in order for you to get the best quality espresso.
