Weird find while buying coffee supplies

After buying our coffee supplies for the week on a nearby grocery, I went to a cafe to have breakfast. I ordered eggs and coffee.

While I was having my breakfast, I notice the person opposite my table who's also having breakfast.

He was dipping his toast on his coffee. It was the first time I saw someone do that and to my curiosity I did the same. But I did not find it pleasurable, just weird.

It makes your bread all soaky, any other people find it nice?

Polish people do this

My grandparents, and parents did that. We are Polish. So is this some thing Polish people do? I think so, because my Aunt who is Polish dose it. And where I use to work we got Polish kids in from Poland and some of them did it too.

I used to do the same thing, but with hot tea with milk and sugar in it. Not bad, but still strange.
