I think I can identify with the feelings of some of the coffee drinkers that wrote into this column. Personally, I have a very old coffee maker, it is so old that I cannot even see the name on the panel. It is working fine, but my wife did ask me to get a new coffee maker. After using it for such a long time, I believe more than a decade, I really cannot bear to throw it away and get a new machine. It is so part of my lifestyle. So, when I read about about the different ways people are enjoying their coffee, I can really identify with them...I also think that coffee is not about the best coffee maker ratings, it should be more about the environment that you have when drinking it.
