This comes as a surprise, with the advancement of technology, and the rise of social media for the ‘millennials’ generation, it is only now that McDonalds is looking at setting up their foothold in social media.

However, it naturally boils down to; can McDonald keep up or is it even necessary for them to have a social media platform to keep up?

With ‘millennials’ being the target audience of their upcoming social media platform, will it be redundant for them?

We all know ‘millennials’ are the ones who grew up eating McDonalds, thus they would already have a huge inkling of the massive fast-food chain in their childhood. So then, is it necessary for them to set up a social media account to keep up with them?
