Located in the heart of Somerset at Orchard Gateway, Supply & Demand is one of the most well frequented Café, restaurant, and bar in Somerset. It is like a three in one place for patrons to go for a coffee or tea break, a hearty meal or for a relaxing drink after a hard day’s work. Without fail, Supply & Demand will always be packed and bustling with office people, young adults, and families everyday, including weekday nights. We visited on a weekday evening and even had to queue a little while before we got a table.

Supply & Demands adopts a dimly lit ambience. We sat at a table under an artificial tree. Every table had a mini candle and miniature potted plant, giving it a very garden-like feel.

For starters, we had the Crostini and Bruschetta topped with tomatoes marinated with olive oil and spices, served with slices of smoked salmon on top ($13). The warm crispy bread and the cold tomatoes and salmon were splendid, a great appetizer dish.

We had to try their signature truffle fries ($17) which everyone was talking about. The fries were not the conventional fries you would expect, it’s huge and fleshy! With every bite, you can taste the fresh and fluffy potatoes and the truffle oil was not too strong but of a perfect aromatic blend. It was topped with generous large grates of cheddar cheese that cheese lovers would go crazy over.

For the main, the signature pizza is definitely worth a try. Costing only $22, the Morning After pizza (13 inch) comprises of ingredients that every one would go after for a good breakfast; a freshly baked thin-crusted pizza served with crispy bacons, tomatoes, juicy tasty mushrooms, and topped with a runny sunny egg in the center. This is definitely worth ordering for all to share above your individual mains.

I will definitely return to Supply and Demand to try more of its dishes and desserts!
