The smell of freshly baked French pastries greets you the moment you step into the shop. Trained and worked in some of the best patisseries in France, the French owner Frederic Deshayes tends to the kitchen in detail especially to the preparation and production process to ensure quality in freshness and taste.  

This modest looking black and white themed cafe also serves an exquisite selection of cakes in moderate proportions.  They don't come cheap for a petite-size slice of cake but you can be assured that they use quality ingredients.

This cafe also serves home-styled dishes, from Quiches, Tartiflettes, Ouefs Au Plats with Mouilletes, Escargots, and everything French! 

Housed in a charming conserved shophouse along Tanjong Katong Road, this is a great venue for those hosting cocktail parties, corporate events, bachelorette’s night, anniversaries,birthday parties and other engagements for a memorable experience!

I had the Millefeuille Jivara cake which I will recommend for chocolate lovers or those looking for a unique savoury chocolate experience. There’s a thin slice of bitter chocolate at the top, smooth and creamy chocolate in the centre and it finishes off with a fine blend of crunchy nuts and chocolatey cake. My friend had the white coffee cake and she liked it as well.

 Latte was average though. Stick to their specialties which are the cakes, pastries and breads.

The service staffs were friendly. Overall, I had an enjoyable tea at Do.Main Bakery.
