Nested on a strip of restaurants and cafes, Forty Hands has earn it’s following of regular customers with its more than decent coffee.

It was crowded during the time I visited and it’s kind of cramped but there’s a certain vibe to it and it’s filled with lively chatter. If space and peace is your cup of tea, please go somewhere else. 

I wasn’t really hungry today but was just looking for a snack and a place to chill while whiling my time away before my next appointment. Forty Hands had a pretty decent selection of food so here I am. When I was browsing through their cakes, I was thinking “ hmm…this café is uniquely Singaporean” They have tau sar paus..and I saw quite a few people ordering too.

But I was attracted to the Onde Onde Cupcake. I liked it and have to give this cupcake a thumbs up. They replicated the taste pretty well and it would be even better if Gula Melaka is oozing from the centre of the cupcake. This cupcake is not as sweet as it looks as well. $3.50 is a very reasonable price to pay for the cupcake and I will be back to try their other food offerings paired with their aromatic coffee.
