After our heavy lunch at The Provision Shop, we took a short walk around the neighbourhood looking for a coffee place. There are so many cafes within 5 minutes walking distance of each other in the 4 blocks. Found an almost perfect corner to continue our discussions.

Just want Coffee is originally from Mount Austin in Johor Bahru. I managed to google up some history from Johorkaki blog.

It’s not crowded at all during the time we were there, the place is dimly lit and the service staff was very friendly. I am beginning to like Everton Park more. All of the cafes here have their unique offerings but most of them provide a very comfortable corner for you to do some work or have a chit-chat with some good friends on a lazy afternoon.

We ordered chocolate truffle cake and lattes. I don’t find the cake very nice as I have had much better cakes. The latte was also just average cos’ maybe I was expecting more from a place that roast their own beans and specialize in coffee. (Maybe it’s the barista who wasn’t on form that day?)

Still, I might come back if I want a place to sit and think or a place to meet someone cos I think they are easily one of the quietest and coziest café at Everton park.
