Starting a coffee shop?: Free Cafe Setup cost Calculator
With a main Café located in Marina Square, in the Central Business District (CBD), Rock & Ash opened a smaller outlet in Changi Village under one of the HDB flats near the renowned food center. Contrary to the outlet in the CBD, this outlet has a much homelier and cozier setting.

The seafood bread bowl ($11.90) aka roti laut was specially created by two of their young chefs. Served in a bread bowl that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the bread went excellent with the soup it contained. The soup was more like a stew, it was thick and rich in flavor of seafood ingredients like crabmeat and fish. It also had a hint of crème of mushroom to it that made it nice and savory. Finally, it was topped with a beautiful poached egg and when I burst the yoke, it added a new dimension to the soup…yummy yum! It’s indeed a well thought creation and I will highly recommend you to try it once.
Other sides included nuggets and their signature jumbo fries. Big large crispy fries were served with up to three dips of your choice based on the size of fries ordered. Choices of dips include inferno cheese, nacho cheese, mayo & chilli, wasabi mayo, garlic chilli, garlic mayo, chocolate and BBQ. We tried the nacho cheese, garlic chilli and BBQ dips. You can’t go wrong with nacho cheese. The garlic chilli dip was fantastic too and not too strong. The BBQ dip had a unique hint of soy like taste that made it interesting. Overall, it was a good meal.
