Starting a coffee shop?: Free Cafe Setup cost Calculator
I am sure most of you have heard about this gelato store before, the owners had a similar café at Somme Road earlier. Its concept is based on the story of the little prince.
If you have not read the story before, don’t fret, they have quite a number of copies in the café that you can pick up to read so as to understand the doodles on the walls better.
The décor gives me the feeling that I am in some fairytale allowing me to enjoy the food even more. It will be great if they add some pretty fairy lights around the plane etc. for instant enchantment.
We placed our orders at the counter and had our food and drinks served shortly. Servers were pretty nice and allowed us to try a few ice-cream flavors as it’s our first time there. Earl Grey ice-cream was a tad too sweet for me.
The Noir and the pistachio ice-cream are both very rich and good but if you only have space for one, do take the Noir. It’s made of quality dark chocolate and you can really taste loads of good cocoa with each spoonful.
We ordered the ham and cheese waffle as we have not had dinner. It was drizzled with Kewpie Mayo. I do like the overall taste although it was pretty standard fare. The rose tea that I ordered was pretty average but I am pretty fussy when it comes to tea and coffee.
Go for the waffles and Noir if you happen to visit. This is not the best waffles I have tasted but the batter is good. It will be great if it’s a tad more crispy.
